My grandparents, Elisa and David Mendoza Sr., had 65 beautiful years together. They taught me what life-long commitment looks like, it's incredible. They had two photos to preserve their wedding day studio portraits taken on their wedding day in 1950, and I'm so grateful to have them. They're two of my most prized possessions but they told me nothing about what their wedding day was like.

After the cake is eaten, the dress is stored away, and the guests go home, the only things left are memories and photos. Marriage is beautiful and deserves beautiful photography: it's a celebration I'd be honored to capture.

I believe that your wedding is not a photoshoot. You choose the flowers, the dress, and the guests because they mean something to you, not because they're popular or trending.  Same goes for your photography. I'm not about the rigid, the stiff, the posed, and the awkward: I'm about the in-betweens, the sweet glances, the laughter, and the moments that make you you.
